  MARSHALL McCLEAN - Timothy

This New Yorker studied improvisational comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade and drama at the T. Schreiber Studio.  Both would prepare him for performing with Muckle, the (self-declared) hardest working ensemble in NYC.  Since relocating to sunny California, Marshall has been studying at the Larry Moss studio in Santa Monica.  Marshall tickled audiences at the West Valley Playhouse with his portrayal of Jack Worthing in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.  The laughs kept coming for Marshall when he joined the Straitjacket Society, a Hollywood-based sketch comedy ensemble.  Where We Began gave Marshall the opportunity to work with talented filmmakers on an issue that affects communities everywhere.  In his spare time, Marshall enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura and his dog Bobo.

MATT PITTENGER - Christian

Matt Pittenger is originally from Cardiff, California. He moved to the L.A. area in 2004 and resides in Venice. Since his move he has established a working career in the commercial and film industries. He is heavily involved with writing and performing sketch comedy, formerly with the Blow Show Co. and Straight Jacket Society, currently with Sketch Camp featured at Comedy Central. He received his B.A. in theatre from San Diego State University and then pursued further studies at Oxford, England in the British American Dramatic Arts program (BADA). His training in L.A. includes work with Lisa Robertson, Patsy Rodenburg, and the Larry Moss Studio. I am truly blessed to be from where I am from, for the love and support of my family, and the opportunity to perform.

PARK WALKUP - Executive Producer

If you’re thinking of becoming a film producer, you won’t find much insight here. I never thought about becoming a film producer. In fact, I was happy lying on the beach in Puerto Vallarta. Of course, I had thought a lot about films and filmaking much of my life. Especially all those years I was an advertising copywriter/creative director type. And really big-time, I suppose, when we would come to Hollywood to shoot a commercial. So in all honesty I am indebted to my nephew, Tom O’Leary and Marc Saltarelli for this new title. (Sometimes I think debted to.) I already knew Tom, of course. I had followed his writing career over the years. And when he showed me the script for Where We Began, I liked it a lot. (Except for a third character which I finally made him exorcise.) Tom told me that he had a filmmaker friend who was eager to turn it into a short film. I said to Tom that I would love to meet him and help out in any way. So we took a meeting. I liked Marc instantly. His passion for filmmaking and his talent were obvious. Then in one of those life-altering moments over which you seem to have no control, I agreed to be the Executive Producer and take care of the mundane details--like funding. Then I began to take it very seriously and decided to call myself “Out of the Park Productions.” One thing I’ve learned since becoming a film producer is that no-one ever asks about how to become a film producer. Also I don’t have time to lie on the beach in Puerto Vallarta as much.
