With the success of the short film version of WHERE WE BEGAN, Tom O'Leary has expanded the script to a full-length feature. A special reading on June 14th will be a highlight of the 9th Annual Provincetown International Film Festival. Actors Marshall McClean and Matt Pittenger will join a cast of ten on the stage of the Provincetown Playhouse, reading their extended roles.

FEATURE LENGTH SYNOPSIS

WHERE WE BEGAN is a contemporary love story between two young men, doomed by the drug addiction of one.  TIMOTHY SPEAR, 26, meets CHRISTIAN MORIN, 22, in a Los Angeles park and the two begin a whirlwind romance. Timothy is the son of well known movie star ELIZABETH ROWLEY, who is 50-something.

Elizabeth is twelve years sober, though she has not actually ever made a direct apology to Timothy for her abusing him as a child. When Elizabeth meets Christian she senses that something is not right. Christian begins using drugs and Elizabeth does all she can to help him, knowing that without drugs Christian is the love of Timothy’s life. But Christian is unable to stay off Crystal Meth and unwilling to get help for his addiction.

In this sequence, Elizabeth attempts to get Christian into recovery, watches him relapse, and is then confronted by her son, Timothy, over the damage she caused through her own addiciton.
